Are you a passionate and creative pastry professional looking to take the next step in your culinary career? Peaksy Tourist Restaurant is looking for an experienced Pastry Sous Chef to join our growing culinary team.
Key Responsibilities:Manager all pastry and bakery operations. Prepare and present high-quality pastries, desserts, cakes, breads, and baked goods. Develop seasonal dessert menus and innovative pastry concepts. Supervise, train, and motivate the pastry team to maintain high standards. Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and portion control. Monitor inventory, minimize food waste, and place orders as required. Maintain food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards at all times. Support daily kitchen operations and ensure timely production.
Requirements:Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Pastry Sous Chef or Senior Pastry Chef in a hotel, restaurant, café, or family entertainment venue. Culinary or Pastry Arts certification is preferred. Strong knowledge of modern pastry techniques, baking, chocolate work, and dessert presentation. Experience in menu development and cost control. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food safety and HACCP standards.
