Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive facade safety plans, ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes and regulations.
- Conduct rigorous site inspections and risk assessments specifically focused on facade integrity, identifying potential hazards before they escalate.
- Oversee the safe execution of all facade-related works, including installation, maintenance, repairs, and demolition, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Manage and coordinate third-party facade inspections and testing, verifying the structural soundness and weatherproofing of building envelopes.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional), CIOSH (Chartered Institute of Occupational Safety and Health), or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in construction safety, with a significant focus on facade engineering or building envelope systems.
- Proven experience in managing safety on large-scale construction projects, demonstrating a strong understanding of facade-specific risks.
