About the Role

Atlantis The Palm is seeking an exceptional Director of Wellness to lead the strategic direction, operational excellence, and commercial performance of AWAKEN Wellness, one of the region's most exciting and evolving wellness destinations.

This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the wellness division, including Spa, Fitness, Wellness Programming, Membership, Retail, Beauty, and Wellness Experiences. Working closely with senior leadership, the Director of Wellness will drive innovation, guest satisfaction, financial performance, and the continued evolution of our wellness offering in line with global trends and the Atlantis brand vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall strategy, operations, and commercial success of the wellness division.
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences while maintaining the highest luxury service standards.
• Drive revenue growth across spa treatments, memberships, retail, wellness programmes, and ancillary services.
• Develop innovative wellness concepts, experiences, and partnerships that strengthen Atlantis' position as a market leader.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and departmental profitability.
• Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team while fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
• Partner closely with Revenue, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Human Resources, and Operations teams to achieve business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, regulatory, and company standards.

About You

We are looking for a commercially minded wellness leader with a passion for luxury hospitality, guest experience, and innovation.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven senior leadership experience within luxury wellness, spa, hospitality, or integrated resort environments.
• A strong track record of delivering revenue growth, profitability, and exceptional guest satisfaction.
• Experience managing large, multi-disciplinary teams across wellness, fitness, spa, beauty, or lifestyle operations.
• Strong commercial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, pricing, and revenue optimisation.
• A deep understanding of luxury wellness trends, memberships, retail, longevity, and evolving guest expectations.
• The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational leadership.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and team development skills.
• A passion for creating innovative wellness experiences and building high-performing teams.
