Job description
A building maintenance company is looking for an experienced Tile, Marble and Stone Mason for a full-time position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install ceramic tiles, porcelain, marble and stone on floors and walls.
- Take accurate measurements and maintain correct levels and slopes.
- Cut and install tiles, corners, skirting and finishing pieces professionally.
- Prepare surfaces and use suitable adhesives, cement and grouting materials.
- Complete work according to the supervisor’s instructions and project requirements.
- Maintain high-quality finishing and keep the worksite clean.
Skills
- Assist the mason with ceramic tile, marble and stone installation.
- Prepare and transport materials, tools and equipment at the worksite.
- Mix cement, tile adhesive and grouting materials.
- Assist with measuring, cutting and arranging tiles and materials.
- Clean the worksite and maintain tools and equipment.
- Follow the instructions of the mason and supervisor and comply with safety procedures.
