Conduct inspections of lifting equipment and lifting accessories
Inspect cranes, hoists, slings, shackles, hooks and other lifting accessories
Conduct inspections of earth-moving machinery, including excavators, loaders, backhoe loaders, bulldozers, graders, rollers and dumpers
Perform visual, functional and operational inspections according to approved procedures
Verify equipment identification, documents, safe working load, safety devices and general condition
Identify defects, unsafe conditions and non-conformities
Prepare clear and accurate inspection reports and certificates
Maintain proper inspection records, photographs and supporting evidence
Ensure inspection tools and measuring equipment have valid calibration
Follow company procedures, applicable standards and client safety requirements
Maintain impartiality, confidentiality and professional conduct
Report immediately any equipment presenting a serious safety risk
Coordinate with clients, site representatives and the Technical Manager
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering – mandatory
Minimum 2 years of relevant inspection experience
Practical experience in inspecting lifting equipment and lifting accessories
Practical experience in inspecting earth-moving machinery
Knowledge of applicable inspection standards, safety requirements and manufacturer instructions
Ability to identify defects and prepare accurate inspection reports
LEEA qualification will be an advantage
Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17020 requirements will be an advantage
Good English communication and technical report-writing skills
Able to work independently at different client sites
Immediate joiners will be preferred
