Operations Support Representative | World Fuel

Location: Dubai, UAE

Join a global leader in energy and marine logistics at an exciting time of growth in the Middle East. We are seeking an Operations Support Representative to play a critical role in supporting marine fuel delivery operations across the region. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, international environment where no two days are the same.

Working closely with commercial, suppliers, vessel agents, and customers, you will help ensure the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of marine fuels while delivering exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate with vessel agents, suppliers, and stakeholders to support marine fuel delivery operations.

  
  

• Monitor and manage shipping activities to ensure timely and efficient execution of bunker transactions.

  
  

• Provide operational support to the commercial sales team throughout the customer lifecycle.

  
  

• Maintain accurate and complete documentation for all bunker and marine fuel-related activities.

  
  

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, traders, brokers, and industry partners.

  
  

• Analyze vessel schedules and future itineraries to identify operational efficiencies and optimize delivery planning.

  
  

• Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies, procedures, and operational standards.

  
  

• Monitor market activity and prepare reports on industry trends and developments.

  
  

• Support bunker fuel quality assurance and validation processes.

  
  

• Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges while maintaining high service standards.

  
  

• Participate in a 24/7 operational environment, supporting customers and stakeholders as needed.

  
  

What We're Looking For

• Experience in marine fuels, shipping, maritime operations, supply chain, logistics, or a related industry.

  
  

• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

  
  

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  
  

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  
  

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  
  

• Experience working with suppliers, vessel agents, traders, or brokers is preferred.

  
  

• Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt quickly to changing circumstances.

  
  

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and operational systems.
