We are currently looking for a <b>Consultant Paediatric Surgeon (with experience in Paediatric Trauma Surgery)</b> for a leading healthcare organization in <b>Al Ain</b>.MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES• Supports and adheres to all hospital departmental and divisional initiatives, policies and procedures.• Participates in the organization's performance management and peer review systems.• Ensures appropriate medical coverage within the division.• Attends divisional and multidisciplinary meetings as required.• Supports the reporting and investigation of clinical incidents.CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES• Diagnose and treat surgical conditions affecting infants, children and adolescents.• Perform paediatric trauma surgeries and emergency surgical procedures.• Manage congenital anomalies, abdominal trauma and paediatric surgical emergencies.• Collaborate with paediatricians, intensivists and emergency physicians.• Supervise junior physicians and surgical staffRequirementsMinimum Qualifications• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent)• Specialization in Paediatric Surgery• Fellowship or significant experience in <b>Paediatric Trauma Surgery</b>• TIER 1 Qualification as per <b>DOH PQR</b> - American Board / Canadian Board / UK CCT or equivalent• Minimum <b>5 years post-specialization experience</b>• Valid <b>DOH License or Eligibility</b>WORK LOCATION - AL AINTo know other vacancies we have, please feel free to visit our website - www.blackpearlconsult.com Disclaimer: Please note that Black Pearl will never ask any of its candidates for any payment in any form in exchange of our service in helping candidates find a job. Skills
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing (Master's preferred).
Minimum 10+ years of experience in the Oncology Department, including leadership roles.
Experience in commissioning oncology units and managing departmental operations.
Strong knowledge of oncology nursing practices, clinical standards, and regulatory requirements.
Demonstrated experience in staff development, mentoring, and leading interdisciplinary teams.
Proven ability to implement strategic initiatives and quality improvement programs.
