The Role As an Import & Export Manager, you will oversee international trade operations, ensuring efficient coordination of import and export activities while supporting compliance, logistics performance, and operational excellence. Working closely with logistics providers, suppliers, customs partners, and internal stakeholders, you will optimize cross-border processes and contribute to strategic supply chain initiatives. This part-time, fully remote opportunity offers the flexibility to lead global trade operations while collaborating with international teams. Key Responsibilities Develop and oversee import and export strategies that support business objectives. Coordinate international shipping activities and optimize cross-border logistics operations. Ensure import and export processes align with applicable customs and trade compliance requirements. Collaborate with logistics providers, freight partners, suppliers, and internal teams to improve operational efficiency. Monitor shipping performance, delivery timelines, and logistics KPIs to identify improvement opportunities. Support customs clearance coordination and maintain accurate trade documentation. Manage relationships with freight forwarders, carriers, and third-party logistics partners. Analyze operational data and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality. Coordinate import and export projects while ensuring timely execution of operational initiatives. Drive continuous improvement across international trade, logistics, and supply chain operations. Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification is preferred. Minimum of 3+ years of professional work experience is preferred. Strong understanding of import and export operations, international logistics, and supply chain management. Knowledge of customs clearance processes, shipping documentation, and international trade practices. Familiarity with freight forwarding, transportation coordination, and logistics compliance requirements. Proficiency in analyzing operational data and implementing process improvement initiatives. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fully remote working environment. Strong communication, negotiation, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
