Job description

We are seeking a Junior Architect to join a newly established design studio in Dubai.

The role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior design leadership with extensive international experience in architecture and urban development. You will contribute to concept, schematic, and detailed design for high-end residential, hospitality, and mixed-use developments across the UAE.

This position is ideal for a motivated young architect who wants to develop strong design, technical, and coordination skills while being involved in real projects from an early stage.

Key Responsibilities

• Support concept and schematic design development, including site analysis, zoning studies, massing, space planning, and façade studies
• Prepare 3D models, diagrams, presentation boards, and design reports for internal reviews, client presentations, and authority submissions
• Assist in the development of schematic and detailed architectural drawings under the guidance of senior architects
• Support the preparation of schedules, specifications, and design documentation, including finishes and door/window schedules
• Coordinate information with structural, MEP, landscape, and interior design consultants
• Assist the project team in responding to authority review comments, including Dubai Municipality, DDA, Trakhees, and RTA
• Contribute to design research, precedent studies, material studies, and visual storytelling for project proposals

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; Master’s degree is an advantage
• 3–8 years of post-graduate architectural experience
• UAE project or authority submission experience is an advantage, but not essential
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit
• Experience with SketchUp, Rhino, 3ds Max, Lumion, Enscape, or similar visualization tools is a plus
• Strong 3D modeling, visual communication, and presentation skills
• Good understanding of architectural drawings, detailing, materials, and design documentation
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
• Arabic, Japanese, or other language skills are an advantage
• Eligible to work in the UAE or able to obtain UAE work authorization
