Role Description The Odoo Developer will work full time on-site in Abu Dhabi, focusing on customizing, developing, and maintaining Odoo modules to support ALMENHAZ’s operational and ecommerce processes. Daily responsibilities include analyzing business requirements, designing technical solutions within Odoo, and implementing new features for inventory, sales, purchasing, and CRM workflows. The role involves integrating Odoo with third-party tools, optimizing performance, and troubleshooting issues to ensure stable and efficient system operation. The Odoo Developer will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to refine processes, provide technical documentation, and support users through training and issue resolution.
Qualifications

Strong foundation in Computer Science, including understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles. Proficiency in Back-End Web Development with experience building and maintaining server-side applications and APIs. Hands-on experience in Software Development, including full software lifecycle activities such as design, coding, testing, and deployment. Solid Programming skills with practical experience in OOP languages (e.g., Python for Odoo, plus familiarity with Java or C# is beneficial). Direct experience developing and customizing Odoo modules, including ORM, workflows, security rules, and QWeb templates. Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., Postgre SQL), version control systems (e.g., Git), and Linux-based deployment environments. Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site with cross-functional teams. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Experience in retail, ecommerce, or inventory-heavy environments is an advantage.
