- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of facility services, ensuring a safe, functional, and efficient work environment for all occupants.
- Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities, including repairs, preventative maintenance, and vendor management, to minimize downtime and maximize asset lifespan.
- Manage and monitor budgets for facility operations, including utilities, maintenance contracts, and supplies, to ensure cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial guidelines.
- Implement and maintain facility-related policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for facility-related issues, promptly addressing and resolving complaints, requests, and emergencies.
- Manage and maintain building security systems, including access control, surveillance, and alarm systems, to protect assets and personnel.
- Coordinate space planning and allocation, including office layouts, renovations, and moves, to optimize space utilization and support business needs.
- Manage vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts, monitoring performance, and ensuring quality service delivery.
- Conduct regular facility inspections and audits to identify potential issues, ensure compliance, and proactively address maintenance needs.
- Prepare and present reports on facility performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs), to management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Should have UAE driving License.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a High School Diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in facility management or a related field, demonstrating a solid understanding of building systems and operations.
- Holds relevant certifications such as CFM (Certified Facility Manager) or FMP (Facility Management Professional) or equivalent.
- Proven experience working in a corporate or commercial environment, with a strong understanding of facilities management principles.
- Demonstrates proficiency in relevant software and tools, including CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and other facility management software.
- Exhibits strong technical skills in building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
- Displays excellent soft skills, including communication, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A working proficiency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus.
