Job Details

  • Ø Create, update, and monitor detailed project timelines using tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project. Ø Allocate manpower, materials, and equipment efficiently across multiple projects. Ø Monitor actual progress against planned milestones and adjust schedules as needed. Ø Generate weekly/monthly progress reports, dashboards, and delay analyses for internal and client review. Ø Liaise with project managers, site engineers, designers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment across all phases. Ø Prepare tender and baseline schedules in line with project scope and contractual requirements. Ø Verify progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards. Ø Identify risks, prepare Extension of Time (EOT) claims, and propose mitigation strategies. Ø Attend meetings, present schedule updates, and address client concerns regarding timelines. Ø Conduct site visits to verify actual progress and collect data for schedule updates. Ø Maintain accurate records of planning documents, revisions, and approvals. Ø Authority to finalize and submit project schedules for client and internal approval. Ø Recommend and implement schedule changes due to scope variations or site conditions. Ø Provide official progress reports and delay notifications to clients and senior management. Ø Direct coordination efforts between planning, procurement, and execution teams to ensure schedule adherence. Ø Update and revise project schedules (within approved baseline). Ø Escalate major schedule changes to Project Manager/Senior Planning Engineer for Ø Provide schedule data for management decision-making. Ø Recommend recovery actions for delayed activities.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Ø Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Construction Management, Interior Design or civil Engineering. Ø Minimum 4–6 years of experience in construction or interior fit-out projects. Ø Deep understanding of materials, construction techniques, and sequencing specific to interior design and joinery projects. Ø Familiarity with all phases of interior projects—from design development to execution and handover. Ø Awareness of building codes, authority approvals, and quality standards relevant to the region. Ø Knowledge of project contracts, procurement processes, and cost control mechanisms. Ø Strong proficiency in tools like Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel to develop and manage detailed project timelines. Ø Ability to identify potential delays, prepare Extension of Time (EOT) claims, and implement mitigation strategies. Ø Skill in planning manpower, materials, and equipment to optimize productivity and reduce costs. Ø Experience in conducting site inspections and ensuring alignment between planned and actual progress. Ø Ability to interpret complex project data and make informed decisions to keep projects on track. Ø Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate with project managers, designers, suppliers, and clients. Ø Flexibility to adjust plans based on site conditions, client changes, or unforeseen challenges. Ø Precision in scheduling, documentation, and compliance with design and quality standards. Ø Communication and coordination skills for working with multidisciplinary teams. Ø Strong foundation in construction methodologies, material specifications, and sequencing.
