- Perform structural analysis and design of facade systems, focusing on aluminum components and their connections to the building structure.
- Develop detailed design calculations and drawings for curtain walls, window systems, and other architectural aluminum elements, ensuring compliance with codes and standards.
- Collaborate closely with architects, project managers, and contractors to translate design intent into buildable and safe facade solutions.
- Conduct site inspections and reviews to verify the quality of fabrication and installation of facade elements, identifying and resolving any structural discrepancies.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent international certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience specifically in the structural design of facade systems, with a strong emphasis on aluminum.
- Demonstrated expertise in structural analysis software and CAD tools, including proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit) for facade modeling.
