Job Details

  • Analyze and interpret manufacturing costs to identify trends and areas for improvement, ensuring accurate product costing.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements specifically for manufacturing operations, including variance analysis.
  • Oversee inventory accounting, including physical inventory counts, valuation, and reconciliation of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
  • Develop and maintain standard costs for manufactured products, updating them regularly to reflect changes in materials, labor, and overhead.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, providing a strong foundational understanding of financial principles.
  • Possesses a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing accounting, demonstrating practical application of knowledge.
  • A Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is highly preferred, showcasing specialized expertise in cost accounting.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) relevant to manufacturing environments.
