As Head Nurse, you will provide clinical leadership, operational oversight, and day-to-day management of the nursing team while ensuring the highest standards of patient care, safety, compliance, and clinical excellence.
You will work closely with physicians, allied health professionals, operational teams, and senior management to ensure efficient clinic operations, outstanding patient experiences, and strong nursing team performance.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
Lead, supervise, and support a team of nursing professionals.
Manage daily staffing allocation, nurse scheduling, and workflow planning.
Provide mentorship, coaching, and performance support to nursing staff.
Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of nursing team members.
Monitor team performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Promote a positive and collaborative clinical culture.
Clinical Operations
Ensure safe, effective, and evidence-based nursing care.
Support physicians during consultations and clinical procedures.
Maintain compliance with DHA regulations, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols.
Oversee medication management, documentation, and quality assurance activities.
Monitor clinical KPIs and support departmental performance objectives.
Ensure compliance with healthcare policies, standards, and accreditation requirements.
Patient Care
Ensure excellent patient experience and continuity of care.
Support patients with chronic disease management and health education.
Respond appropriately to clinical incidents and escalate concerns where required.
Promote patient safety, dignity, and compassionate care at all times.
Desired Candidate Profile
Essential Requirements
DHA Licensed Registered Nurse.
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Minimum 5 years' clinical nursing experience.
Minimum 2 years' experience in a leadership role such as:
Head Nurse
Charge Nurse
Nurse Supervisor
Team Leader
Nurse Manager
Clinic Nurse Lead
Previous UAE healthcare experience.
Experience managing nursing rosters, staffing, and clinic operations.
BLS certification (mandatory).
ACLS and/or PALS certification desirable.
Strong computer literacy and EMR experience.
Fluent Arabic and English language skills (mandatory).
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
