We are looking for a Landscape & Horticulture Engineer with experience in business development, landscape construction, and maintenance. The candidate will be responsible for supporting business growth while overseeing the planning, execution, and maintenance of landscape and horticulture projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities in landscaping, horticulture, construction, and maintenance.
Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
Prepare quotations, BOQs, proposals, and technical submissions for landscape projects.
Coordinate and supervise landscape construction and horticulture works.
Manage softscape, hardscape, planting, irrigation, and external works.
Select and manage plants, trees, shrubs, turf, and other horticultural materials.
Supervise landscape maintenance activities, including pruning, fertilization, irrigation, pest control, and plant health.
Conduct site inspections and ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Coordinate with project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers for smooth project execution.
Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, costs, and timelines.
Identify technical issues on site and provide suitable solutions.
Support client meetings, site visits, tendering, and project negotiations.
Prepare progress reports and maintain project documentation.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, Agriculture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
3–5 years of relevant experience in landscape, horticulture, construction, maintenance, or related projects.
Experience in business development and client relationship management is preferred.
Strong knowledge of softscape, hardscape, irrigation, planting, and landscape maintenance.
Good understanding of horticultural practices, plant selection, soil preparation, fertilization, and pest control.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
Strong communication, coordination, negotiation, and site supervision skills.
UAE driving licence is an advantage.
