Job description

The Planning Engineer is responsible for developing, maintaining, monitoring, and controlling project schedules for hotel and high-rise building construction projects. The role ensures that project activities are properly planned, sequenced, monitored, and completed within the approved timeframes, while identifying potential delays and supporting the project team in implementing effective recovery measures

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage master and detailed project programmes using Primavera P6.
• Monitor progress, critical path, milestones, and schedule performance.
• Identify delays and risks and develop recovery/mitigation plans.
• Coordinate planning across design, procurement, construction, MEP, façade, fit-out, commissioning, and handover.
• Review subcontractor programmes and monitor performance.
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports, S-curves, dashboards, and forecasts.
• Support delay analysis, EOT submissions, and contractual claims.
• Manage the planning team and coordinate with project stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Proven experience in hotel, high-rise, commercial, or mixed-use projects.
• Advanced Primavera P6 and MS Excel skills.
• Strong knowledge of project controls, critical path, delay analysis, and progress measurement.
• UAE/GCC experience preferred.
