Professional Engineer (PE) license or progress toward licensure (required/preferred depending on role level) Design and analyze structural systems for buildings and other structures (concrete, steel, timber, masonry) Prepare structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports Ensure designs comply with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards Review architectural and construction drawings for structural feasibility Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and construction teams Conduct site visits and inspections to verify construction quality and compliance Identify and resolve structural design issues during design and construction phases Provide technical support during permitting and construction Review shop drawings and material submittals Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
