Position: Senior Equine Operations / Horse Farm Manager

A prestigious VIP client in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Senior Equine Operations / Retired Horse Farm Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a private horse retirement facility.

Key Responsibilities

__ Oversee daily operations of the horse retirement farm and stables

__ Ensure high standards of horse welfare, feeding, grooming, turnout, care, and hygiene

__ Manage mature, retired, injured, and special-needs horses

__ Supervise stable and farm staff

__ Coordinate veterinarians, farriers, and other equine specialists

__ Oversee stables, paddocks, equipment, and general farm maintenance

__ Manage suppliers, contractors, procurement, and inventory

__ Monitor budgets, expenditure, and operational costs

__ Maintain operational records, SOPs, and reporting systems

__ Ensure safe, efficient, and professional farm operations

Essential Requirements

__ Minimum 10 years of professional equine experience

__ Strong experience in horse farms, racing yards, riding stables, equestrian estates, rehabilitation, or retirement facilities

__ Excellent practical knowledge of horse care and stable management

__ Experience managing retired, injured, or special-needs horses

__ Proven team management and staff supervision experience

__ Experience coordinating veterinarians, farriers, and equine specialists

__ Strong knowledge of equine welfare and stable hygiene

__ Experience with procurement, inventory, budgeting, and cost control

__ Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills

__ Able to work independently and take full responsibility for operations

__ Comfortable working in a hands-on stable/farm environment

Preferred Experience

__ Private/VIP equestrian estate or high-value horse facility experience

__ Horse retirement or rehabilitation experience

__ Experience managing a large number of horses

__ UAE or GCC experience

__ Experience working with UHNW families, private Principals, or senior management

__ Experience with SOPs, KPIs, operational reporting, and budgeting
