Independently manage the end-to-end HR function for academic and non-academic employees.
Handle recruitment, manpower planning, onboarding, probation, confirmation, promotions, transfers, and employee separation.
Manage employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters and HR investigations.
Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law, University policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
Handle compensation, benefits, leave, attendance, payroll coordination and final settlements.
Develop, review and implement HR policies, procedures, forms and internal controls.
Manage performance appraisal, employee development, training and succession planning.
Maintain accurate employee records, HRIS and HR reports/analytics.
Work directly with Deans, Heads of Departments and senior management on workforce and employee-related matters.
Serve as the primary HR point of contact for all employees and departments.
Support the HRD and senior management in organizational development and strategic HR initiatives.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Management or related field; Master's/MBA in HR is an advantage.
4–6 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a university, higher education institution or similarly complex organization.
Proven ability to independently handle all aspects of HR operations for both academic/faculty and non-academic staff.
Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law and HR compliance.
Hands-on experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and HR policy development.
Strong ability to independently handle confidential, sensitive and complex employee matters.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills.
Strong HRIS, reporting and analytical capabilities.
High integrity, discretion and professional judgment.
UAE higher education experience will be an advantage.
