About the Role

Our client, a growing company within the entertainment industry, is looking to hire an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join their team in Dubai.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, managing financial transactions, and supporting the company's overall financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and financial summaries.
• Handle bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Process supplier invoices, payments, expense claims, and customer receipts.
• Monitor operational and project-related expenses against approved budgets.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and relevant financial requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, and external auditors.
• Maintain accurate financial documentation and implement effective accounting controls.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience within the entertainment, events, media, hospitality, or related industries is preferred.
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and accounting practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, accounts payable, and receivable.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.

Salary & Benefits

AED 7,000 – 10,000 per month, depending on experience.
