Summary
As a Director Operations Enablement, you are responsible for establishing, leading and driving the overall strategic business transformation portfolio. The primary responsibility of your role is to work closely with the Chief Operations & Guest Experience Officer (COGO) in delivering cross divisional strategic projects that improves financial performance, operational efficiency, customer experience, and/or staff engagement across the division.
Key Accountabilities:
- Establish and lead the overall divisional programmes related to Customer, Engagement, Cost and Operational Efficiency across the Division. Design a Programme performance framework that enables a proper measurement of the overall portfolio performance which Is also aligned with the Ops leadership team
- Overall responsibility to track transformation initiatives including having an understanding of the health and financial impact of the transformation..
- Work with the business units to continuously monitor any gaps in performance, identification of potential synergies and / or development of new initiatives and ideas to mitigate business and financial risk.
- Monitor programmes within the transformation portfolios through their lifecycle, consolidate portfolio level view on the realization of benefits and KPIs against their targets.
- Own and manage Divisional key reports including but not limited to Steering Committee Presentations, Board Committee presentations etc. Ensure consistency, timeliness and accuracy of reported data.
- Support the business leads on divisional (corporate) risk management, aggregating for bodies such as the Audit Review Committee. Support the business leads on divisional employee engagement and communication initiatives and programmes.
- Lead the divisional environmental sustainability programme, linking in with corporate ESG to ensure the airline’s and country’s mandates are met.
- Support the COGO in identification of any initiatives that can contribute increased revenue or cost reductions and provide overall support in identifying risks and opportunities.
- Support the COGO in the execution of the 2030 strategy or any other strategy as required to deliver on the transformation mandate.
- Coordination on any overall related activities across the team, including working closely with assigned communication manager.
Education & Experience
- Master of Finance or Business Administration or related post-graduate degree.
- Additional Certification in Portfolio, Programme and Project Offices (P3o) or Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) is desirable
- At least 15+ years portfolio/programme management experience.
- Experience in leading high-impact initiatives that enhance guest experience, reduce costs, and improve efficiency within a global organization.
- Experience and ability to manage a team of project/program managers and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including executive leadership.
