What You Will Be Doing
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company’s balance sheet by substantiating, reconciling, and controlling all balance sheet accounts in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the reconciliation review process.
- Prepare Dashboard covering balance sheet substantiation.
- Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of balance sheet controls.
- Help establish and maintain proper segregation of duties to prevent conflicts of interest and enhance the integrity of financial processes.
- Assist in assessing and managing financial risks by identifying potential threats, evaluating their impact, and implementing strategies to mitigate or control them.
- Monitor financial activities, generate relevant reports, and communicate findings to management, highlighting areas of concern or improvement.
- Leverage technology tools to enhance financial controls, such as implementing automated monitoring processes and advanced analytics for risk assessment.
- Develop and maintain protocols for responding to financial irregularities, including investigations, corrective actions, and reporting to appropriate stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to balance sheet substantiation.
- Assist in designing, implementing, and enhancing internal control frameworks to safeguard financial integrity and minimize risks.
- Assist in conducting comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential financial vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Assist in preparation and maintenance of accurate documentation of RCSA process, findings and plans.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Informed Decisions: Skilled in gathering and analyzing information for sound business decisions.
- Pressure Handling: Effective under constraints like limited resources and tight timelines.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in accounting / finance or economics, or related field, Chartered Accountant preferred.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of hands-on experience in a large business.
- Knowledge of Banking systems and products.
- Knowledge of Power BI / Automation and presentation skills.
