The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and handling payroll and budgets. Additional responsibilities include preparing tax documents, analyzing financial data, and supporting financial decision-making for the organization. The role requires attention to detail and strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records for routine accounting operations.Qualifications Proficiency in financial record management, account reconciliation, and preparation of financial statements Skilled in payroll processing, budget management, and expense tracking Familiarity with tax laws, compliance regulations, and preparation of tax documents Strong analytical skills for financial data analysis and reporting Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time management skills Proficiency in accounting software (Xero) Hands-on experience with Stripe and Stripe Connect Experience with commission tracking and payout schedules Experience with investment tracking and reporting Experience in the travel or property investment industry is a plus Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification.Experience in hospitality, property management, or marketplace platforms (Airbnb, OTA, villa rentals, etc.) is advantageous.If you are a meticulous finance professional who enjoys building scalable systems and thrives in a start-up environment, we’d love to hear from you!
