About the Role: We are looking for a creative, energetic, and hands-on Visual Merchandiser to enhance the visual appeal of our showrooms and drive customer engagement. The ideal candidate combines strong design skills, operational expertise, and a flair for home furnishings to create inspiring displays that reflect our brand standards. This role involves planning and executing showroom layouts, training store staff, and contributing directly to sales through impactful merchandising.Key Responsibilities:Plan, design, and implement visually compelling furniture and accessory displays that engage customers and support sales strategies. Arrange furniture layouts to optimize customer experience, space utilization, and product flow from stock to the showroom. Maintain consistent brand standards and visual merchandising guidelines across all displays. Coordinate seasonal themes, promotional setups, and new product launches. Source décor items, props, and merchandising supplies to enhance displays. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper lighting in showroom and stockroom areas. Assist with inventory management, including accessory tagging, furniture counts, and display evaluation. Educate and guide store staff to exercise creative flexibility that drives business results. Seek feedback from colleagues and customers on display impact and implement improvements. Perform special assignments and projects as directed by the Head of Merchandising or Store Manager.Requirements:1–3 years of experience as a Visual Merchandiser, preferably in the retail furniture or home décor industry. Degree or diploma in Fine Arts, Interior Design, or related field preferred. Strong understanding of interior design principles, space planning, color coordination, and styling. Ability to create mood boards, display concepts, and dynamic furniture arrangements. Awareness of current home décor trends and ability to translate them into showroom displays. Entrepreneurial mindset, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, coordination, and teamwork abilities. Hands-on experience with showroom operations, including stockroom management and inventory support. Proficiency in design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch Up) is a plus. Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work across multiple showroom locations if required.
