Role Objective:To execute assigned works such that they are completed within the time, cost and quality requirements of the contract while adhering to the company’s safety practices and manpower productivity. Assigns and efficiently distributes available resources and materials.
Roles & Responsibilities:Coordinates the Steel works activities with the overall work program of the civil, and MEP crews on site Responsible of several small sites with absence of any engineer. Responsible for leading full erection activities of a big site, having several general foreman reporting to him. Responsible for optimizing the allocated manpower, material and equipment for assigned projects. Assists in the introduction of new methods of Steel construction, equipment, and machinery to improve the construction process. Responsible for the daily needs and site control of his project. Responsible for the distribution of the work force on site as per the daily program. Responsible for labor attendance and productivity. Liaises with sub-contractors and general workforce involved in the project Responsible for implementing the overall safety on his site. Responsible for the timely delivery of required site forms (within 48 hours) including all material delivery notes (with authorized signature and ID number), Master Labor Card and Daily Activity Report when applicable. Resolves any unexpected erection difficulties or problems that may arise. Assists Site Engineer/Project Engineer in preparing look-ahead schedules for his projects. Responsible for material inflow and outflow from his site store. Ensures no material wastage at site. Ensures his site image is in compliance with Company standards and policies. Assists Site Engineer/Project Engineer in updating progress on site to planning on weekly basis
Educational Qualifications, Experience and Skills:Diploma in Engineering At least 10 years of experience in steel division
