Madison Pearl is partnering with a government entity to expand their Information Security & Risk team. They are seeking an Associate Manager – Information Security to join them to support the implementation, operation, and continual improvement of the organization’s Information Security Management System (ISMS)
Key responsibilities:
Provide strategic oversight and technical leadership for enterprise information security by advising on Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery for critical systems. Conduct threat modelling and security risk assessments and guide secure architecture across key security domains. Strengthen governance and compliance through audit readiness (ISO 27001, DESC ISR), policy and framework enhancement, and risk-based control selection. Partner with senior management to classify and protect information assets, evaluate security risks across IT initiatives, and embed a consistent, organization-wide risk assessment methodology aligned with evolving threats and regulatory requirements.
Key requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field from a recognized university. 3 – 6 years of progressive relevant experience. Proven experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining an Information Security Management System (ISMS) aligned with standards such as ISO 27001 and DESC ISR. Exposure to cybersecurity frameworks and regulations, such as NIST, COBIT, ITIL, and ISO standards. Only Emiratis will be considered.
