Primary Objective/General Overview
The credit controller META provides support to the Head of Credit by coordinating credit closing, consolidation, monitoring cash flow and FX exposure, risk assessment and compliance with credit policies across META, ensuring accurate reporting, reliable visibility and timely risk insights to support informed management decisions.
Key Responsibilties
Credit closing & Consolidation Coordinate and support monthly, quarterly and annual credit closing across METACollect, Validate and control credit KPI’s (DSO, Overdue, provisions) prior to consolidation. Ensure consistency and alignment between local credit data and regional reporting. Monitor performance vs targets and identify key deviations and risks Assess and monitor bad debt provision on monthly basis in line with Group Policy. Monitor cash flow performance across all entities Prepare and maintain regional credit dashboards and reports (Overdue, DSO, cash flow) Support the development and maintenance of credit reporting for the instruments business. Credit Policy & Control Ensure entities compliance with Essilor Luxottica credit policies and procedures. Monitor customer credit limits, blocked accounts and approved exceptions. Support collection agency and legal case monitoring for customers under risk categories. Investigate and follow up on problematic accounts. Support internal and external audits by providing credit documentation & Explanation. Support AML monitoring activities related to customers, including coordination with compliance team. Country & Functional coordination Coordinate with META entities on credit related activities and projects. Support credit coverage and continuity in case of temporary gaps or peak periods. Collaborate with Commercial & Finance on customer creditworthiness and outstanding balances. Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Contribute to continuous improvement of credit processes and reporting across META. Requirements 3-5 years’ experience in credit control management. Exposure to multi-country and multi-currency environments. Good understanding of credit KPI’s and receivable management. Strong excel skills, ERP knowledge (SAP preferred) Detail oriented, structured and able to work within deadlines and pressure
Education
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent.
