We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resident Engineer to oversee on-site construction activities and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will act as the key technical representative on-site, coordinating between contractors, and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and monitor daily construction activities on-site Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and local regulations Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and client representatives Review and approve materials, shop drawings, and method statements Monitor project progress and prepare regular site reports Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards Conduct site inspections and quality control checks Identify and resolve technical issues promptly Verify work completion and certify contractor payments
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (or related field)7+ years of experience in construction supervision/site management Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations Experience in high end residential projects Excellent leadership and coordination skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools Professional certifications like PMP is a plus
