Roles & Responsibilities
QC INSPECTOR (Welding-Pipeline)
Conduct daily welding inspections and coordinate with Client representative during site visit.
Prepare and schedule NDT request including PWHT.
Establish Inspection and Test plan (ITP), with respect to project Standards and Specifications.
Prepare Welding Procedure Specifications and Conduct PQT, WQT and witness mechanical testing of test specimens.
Supervision of QA/QC activities related to Pipelines/Piping and Hydro testing / Pneumatic Testing of erected spools.
Carryout mechanical and QC clearance of hydro test packages.
Preparation of final documents for the Project completion Dossier.
QC INSPECTOR (Underground Coating)
Establish Inspection and Test plan (ITP), with respect to project Standards and Specifications.
Finalize Painting Procedure Specifications and Conduct PQT/ Coating Applicator Test and witness Coating related testing of specimens.
Check visual inspection of coating as per project standards /specifications and Inspection test plan (ITP).
Coordinate for final inspection of coating and holiday testing.
Carry out inspection for factory applied coating 3-layer polypropylene coating (3LPP/2LFBE)
Supervision of QA/QC activities related to Painting for Pipelines/Piping and Structures.
Responsible for QC clearance of painted spools.
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 9+year experience in Welding Inspection/ Coating Inspection related to Oil & Gas projects in Middle East.
Previous approval in ADNOC Group or other Oil/Gas Client.
Candidates need to possess exposure in cross country pipeline projects with larger diameter pipes in automatic welding process.
Certified Welding Inspector (AWS/CSWIP 3.1)
Certified ASNT Level-2.
Certified Painting inspection qualification (NACE/ BGAS L-2).
Exposure to field joint coating in Pipelines (HSS/HB-HT/ Wrapping Methods
Willing to reside in site project accommodation
