Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance on production equipment.
Inspect and maintain mixers, dispersers, reactors, filling machines, packaging lines, pumps, compressors, and utility systems.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
Monitor utility systems including air compressors, chillers, cooling towers, vacuum pumps, and boilers (if applicable).
Carry out lubrication, alignment, bearing replacement, seal replacement, and routine servicing of machinery.
Assist in the installation, commissioning, and modification of new equipment.
Ensure production equipment is maintained to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
Maintain maintenance records, equipment history, and spare parts inventory.
Coordinate with the Production, Quality Control, and HSE teams during maintenance activities.
Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and other safety requirements before maintenance work.
Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements where applicable.
Maintain housekeeping in the workshop and production areas.
Report recurring equipment failures and recommend corrective actions for continuous improvement.
Required Skills:
Knowledge of mechanical maintenance of industrial equipment.
Basic understanding of electrical systems, motors, VFDs, PLCs, and control panels.
Familiarity with pumps, gearboxes, agitators, mixers, conveyors, and filling machines.
Ability to read mechanical drawings and equipment manuals.
Desired Candidate Profile
Diploma/ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Maintenance.
2–5 years of maintenance experience in a sealants, adhesives, coatings, paints, chemicals, or similar manufacturing industry.
Experience with preventive maintenance systems and maintenance documentation.
