Job Details

  • Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance on production equipment.

  • Inspect and maintain mixers, dispersers, reactors, filling machines, packaging lines, pumps, compressors, and utility systems.

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.

  • Monitor utility systems including air compressors, chillers, cooling towers, vacuum pumps, and boilers (if applicable).

  • Carry out lubrication, alignment, bearing replacement, seal replacement, and routine servicing of machinery.

  • Assist in the installation, commissioning, and modification of new equipment.

  • Ensure production equipment is maintained to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.

  • Maintain maintenance records, equipment history, and spare parts inventory.

  • Coordinate with the Production, Quality Control, and HSE teams during maintenance activities.

  • Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and other safety requirements before maintenance work.

  • Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements where applicable.

  • Maintain housekeeping in the workshop and production areas.

  • Report recurring equipment failures and recommend corrective actions for continuous improvement.

    Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of mechanical maintenance of industrial equipment.

  • Basic understanding of electrical systems, motors, VFDs, PLCs, and control panels.

  • Familiarity with pumps, gearboxes, agitators, mixers, conveyors, and filling machines.

  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and equipment manuals.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Diploma/ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Maintenance.

  • 2–5 years of maintenance experience in a sealants, adhesives, coatings, paints, chemicals, or similar manufacturing industry.

  • Experience with preventive maintenance systems and maintenance documentation.

    Working Conditions

  • Work in a manufacturing plant environment.

  • Ability to work rotating shifts and respond to emergency breakdowns.

  • Use of appropriate PPE and adherence to all HSE requirements.
