Abu Alnaga Contracting is seeking a qualified and experienced HSE Officer to join our construction team and ensure a safe, compliant, and productive working environment across our project sites.
REQUIREMENTSValid Trakhees Safety Officer License/Approval – Mandatory Minimum 2–5 years of relevant construction HSE experience UAE construction experience preferred NEBOSH / IOSH certification is an advantage Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and Trakhees requirements Good knowledge of Risk Assessments, RAMS, JSA and Permit-to-Work (PTW) Experience in monitoring excavation, lifting, working at height, hot work, scaffolding and other high-risk activities Good communication, coordination and reporting skills Ability to work effectively with engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and site workers
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESImplement and monitor company and project HSE policies and procedures Conduct daily site inspections and identify unsafe acts and conditions Ensure appropriate corrective and preventive actions are implemented Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks and safety awareness programs Monitor PPE compliance and safe working practices Monitor high-risk activities and ensure approved safety procedures are followed Review and monitor Risk Assessments, Method Statements and PTW requirements Report and assist in investigating accidents, incidents and near misses Maintain HSE records, inspection reports and safety documentation Follow up on safety observations and corrective actions Coordinate with project teams, consultants, clients and authorities Support Trakhees and other authority/client inspections
