Job Details

  • ESG Policy & Procedure Development

    • Develop, implement, and monitor ESG policies and procedures across international subsidiaries.

    • Ensure alignment with global ESG standards, corporate objectives, and local regulatory requirements.

    ESG KPI Development

    • Define, establish, and maintain measurable ESG Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for international entities.

    • Align local ESG KPIs with the organization's global ESG reporting framework while considering regional requirements.

    ESG Reporting & Compliance

    • Oversee the collection, validation, and reporting of ESG data from international subsidiaries.

    • Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant submission of ESG information for corporate reporting and external disclosures.

    • Monitor compliance with applicable ESG regulations, standards, and reporting requirements.

    Stakeholder Engagement

    • Build and maintain effective relationships with subsidiary leadership, regional teams, and external stakeholders.

    • Promote consistent implementation of ESG initiatives and foster a strong sustainability culture across international operations.

    Training & Capacity Building

    • Develop and deliver ESG training and awareness programs for subsidiary teams.

    • Enhance organizational understanding of ESG policies, procedures, reporting requirements, and best practices.

    ESG Risk Management

    • Identify, assess, and monitor ESG-related risks across international operations.

    • Recommend mitigation strategies to reduce ESG risks and improve sustainability performance.

    • Support business continuity by integrating ESG risk considerations into operational planning.

    Continuous Improvement

    • Monitor emerging ESG regulations, global trends, frameworks, and industry best practices.

    • Recommend enhancements to ESG policies, procedures, KPIs, and reporting methodologies to strengthen organizational sustainability performance.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Legal, Human Resources, Procurement, and other business functions to embed ESG considerations into business strategies, operational processes, and decision-making.

    Authority & Decision Making

    Authority

    • Operates within approved ESG policies, corporate standards, delegated authority, and defined objectives.

    • Recommends improvements to ESG policies, reporting processes, KPIs, and sustainability initiatives.

    • Coordinates ESG activities across international subsidiaries to ensure consistent implementation and compliance.

    Decision Making

    • Makes operational decisions in accordance with established ESG policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.

    • Prioritizes ESG initiatives based on regulatory requirements, business objectives, and organizational priorities.

    • Escalates significant ESG risks, compliance issues, or reporting concerns to management when required.

    • Ensures work outputs meet established quality, compliance, and sustainability standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

    • Master's Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

    • Professional certifications in ESG, Sustainability, Corporate Responsibility, or related disciplines are an advantage.

    Minimum Experience

    • Minimum 12+ years of experience in Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG), Sustainability, or Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

    • At least 5 years of experience supporting global or international operations.

    • Proven experience in developing, implementing, and managing ESG policies, procedures, governance frameworks, and reporting programs.

    • Demonstrated experience coordinating ESG initiatives across multiple countries and regulatory environments.

    Skills

    • Strong knowledge of global ESG frameworks, sustainability standards, and reporting requirements (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD, ISSB, CSRD, UN Global Compact).

    • Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across international regions.

    • Strong analytical skills for developing, monitoring, and reporting ESG Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

    • Experience in ESG data collection, validation, analysis, and performance reporting.

    • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional and international teams.

    • Proficiency in ESG reporting platforms, sustainability management systems, and data analysis tools.

    • Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.

    • Ability to interpret evolving ESG regulations and translate them into practical business actions.

    • High level of attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

    • Fluency in English (written and spoken); proficiency in additional languages is an advantage when supporting international subsidiaries.
