PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensure carpentry work orders are carried out promptly and correctly.
• Repair and maintain furniture, doors, cabinets, shelves, and other wooden items.
• Ensure all carpentry and polishing work meets quality and safety standards.
• Prepare surfaces by sanding, filling, and smoothing wood materials.
• Apply stains, varnishes, lacquers, paints, and polish finishes as required.
• Buff and polish furniture and wooden surfaces to achieve the required finish quality.
• Inspect finished products and perform touch-ups when necessary.
• Operate and Maintain the carpentry tools and polishing tool equipment safely in the carpentry work shop.
• Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and regulations
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to complete projects efficiently.

SAFETY RESPONSIBILITES:

• Follow all workplace health and safety requirements.
• Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Report unsafe conditions, incidents, or equipment defects immediately.

OTHERS

• Continuous learning through own IDP.
• Any other duties as may be assigned by the superior.

JOB REQUIREMENT
• Good knowledge of construction materials and carpentry techniques.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual work.
• Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and time-management skills.
• Min 5yrs experience, prefer GCC experience.
• High School or Equivalent courses
