Job Purpose

Lead the English editorial team in delivering accurate, high-quality digital content. Plan English news coverage, oversee editing and translation, and ensure adherence to editorial, legal, and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily publishing plans and assign tasks to English editors, reporters, and translators.

• Develop special reports, investigations, and content tailored to English-speaking audiences.

• Edit and proofread news, articles, and reports before publication.

• Review Arabic-to-English translations for accuracy, context, and terminology.

• Ensure compliance with editorial stylebooks, legal requirements, and ethical standards.

• Coordinate with the Arabic editorial team for content localization and cross-platform adaptation.

• Collaborate with Multimedia, Social Media, and Video teams to develop engaging English content.

• Provide guidance and feedback to the editorial team and support freelancer selection when required.

• <1% post-publication editorial errors, with zero major errors.
