Worker at Ambassador’s Residence (Waiter/Household Assistant) Job Description / Role We are looking for an experienced and a passionate worker (Waiter/Household Assistant) to work at the residence of Ambassador of Japan. Key Responsibilities ? Support official events at the residence from preparation to cleaning up afterwards, including serving food and drinks ; ? Welcome guests in professional manner upon arrival in coordination with the residence team ; ? Cleaning up in the compound of the residence and ensure the residence is kept clean, tidy, and organised (basic ????housekeeping- cleaning, dish washing, laundry, ironing, polishing glass and silver ware, watering plants ) ? Maintain residence premises to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene ? Ensure the upkeep of all residence rooms including air-conditioning, water supply/ sewage and report any maintenance faults/anything abnormal to Ambassador(Administrative office) immediately ? Manage inventory of items (beverages, daily essentials, bulbs) at the residence ? Work flexibly in the role and contribute as a team player ? Encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation with Ambassador and his/her family

Requirements ? Previous relevant working experience in an international standard hotel, diplomatic residence, fine-dining restaurant or equivalent preferable ? A minimum of 3 years’ experience in working in a similar position ? Intermediate level in English (reading, writing, listening and speaking) ? Basic computer skill (Excel, Word) preferable ? Used to work in pressurised and demanding work environment ? Good communication and problem-solving skills, attention to details, team player ? Strong attention to detail, highly responsible, organised and reliable ?
