Charterhouse is working exclusively with a family office based in Abu Dhabi to recruit an IT Support Specialist with a customer-oriented mindset to join their dynamic IT team. The IT Support Specialist’s primary responsibilities will be providing first-line technical support to all internal users, addressing hardware, software and network-related issues, diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues, installing and configuring computer hardware and software as well as maintaining IT systems. The role will require collaborating with the IT team to implement and maintain IT infrastructure, manage user accounts and network security as well as implement projects. Additionally, the role will require guiding users and providing training on software applications as and when required. The IT Support Specialist will stay updated on the latest technology trends and adapt in accordance.

To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or related fields along with minimum of 3 years of experience in IT helpdesk support. Our client is looking for someone with a strong knowledge of computer hardware, software and networking systems, along with deep knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Office Suit and remote desktop support. The ideal candidate will also have a proven track record of working across cross-functional IT projects and a working knowledge of ITIL. Qualifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or HDI-Desktop Support are an added advantage. Strong technical background, coupled with excellent problem-solving abilities and a customer-oriented approach to service delivery are essential for this role.
