Purpose of Job
Identifies and manages asset reliability risks to plant or business operations and provides specialist technical advice to the Maintenance and Operation Divisions on statistical analysis, reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, facilities, controls and safety systems. Participates in the final inspection of new installations, develops analytical methods for determining reliability of components, equipment and processes and provides specialised technical guidance and support to the Reliability Engineers and the Discipline Engineering Section in developing and updating predictive and preventive maintenance programmes.
