Purpose of Job

Gas Process Treating, CDU, MHC/Hydro treating, Residue Processing. Leads all the functions and operations of the Crude Distillation, Gas Processing & Treating and Residue Processes Sections, utilizing technical and problem solving skills along with specialized engineering knowledge, to ensure that the Department’s projects are budgeted, planned and implemented, to achieve reliable,

efficient and safe operations at optimum cost. Manages and maintains maximum unit capacities and quality products as per company specifications. Administers in crisis circumstances and restores normal operations as fast as possible.

Skills,Education and prior work experience

• B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• 10 years’ experience in refinery / gas processing plant operations
• of which 6 years should have been at Section Head and above
• High level of relevant technical knowledge and application.
• Management and planning skills and Project Management ability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to educate and motivate
• Data analysis and report writing skills
• Full knowledge of DCS.
• Quick and sound decision making and judgment.
• Fluent oral and written English. Knowledge of Arabic is preferable.
