Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Artistic and Rhythmic Gymnastics Coaches to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of rhythmic gymnastics techniques, choreography, and music composition, along with a passion for teaching and inspiring young athletes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive training programs that cater to the needs of recreational and competitive gymnasts.
- Provide instruction on rhythmic gymnastics techniques, including body movement, apparatus handling, and dance elements.
- Lead choreography sessions to create captivating routines that showcase gymnasts' skills and personalities.
- Collaborate with gymnasts to select music and create custom mixes that complement their routines.
- Conduct regular assessments to track progress and adjust training plans as needed.
- Coach gymnasts during competitions, providing guidance and support to help them perform at their best.
- Foster a positive and inclusive training environment that encourages teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
- Communicate effectively with gymnasts, parents, and club management regarding training schedules, progress reports, and upcoming events.
- Stay current with developments in rhythmic gymnastics coaching techniques, rules, and regulations.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience coaching rhythmic gymnastics at the recreational and competitive levels.
- Ability to create engaging and innovative training programs that cater to gymnasts of all skill levels and ages.
- Proficiency in choreography, including the ability to create original routines and adapt existing ones to fit gymnasts' abilities.
- Experience in music composition or selection, with the ability to create custom mixes for gymnastics routines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire gymnasts.
- Certification from a recognized gymnastics coaching organization (e.g., USAG, FIG).
- Knowledge of injury prevention techniques and first aid/CPR certification.
- Passion for working with children and helping them develop both athletically and personally.
