Synopsis
To help answer the highest value analytical problem statements posed by different teams and departments across Etihad Airways to the Digital & eCommerce team.
Reporting to the Digital Analytics Manager and working under the guidance of the Digital Engagement Senior Manager, he/she should leverage their advanced analytical skills and leverage the wider analytical toolkit, to analyse and visualize Etihad’s digital and enterprise data resources. Also, he/she should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, to effectively work across a multi-disciplined environment.
He/she will be encouraged to develop their skills and techniques for the analysis of data and problem solving, to stay up-to-date with industry leading Digital Analytics capabilities.
Accountabilities
- Analyze requirements and identify or design the solution to a problem
- Execute complex, ad-hoc analyses utilizing Etihad’s wider analytical toolkit proactively looking for further insights and root cause
- Summarize / visualize results and highlight likely insights for the business translator to develop
- Maintain documentation repository of solutions, to include methodology
- Identify opportunities for automation and improvements to approach in each analysis performed, make recommendations to wider team as to priorities for further development
- Develop and maintain proficiency with Adobe, Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI and other advanced analytic and database tools, in-house data sets, and other resources
- Will be encouraged to develop one or more specializations in Etihad’s key analytical disciplines (see required skills) and become the ‘go-to’ person among peers in that field. Act as an expert and coach to wider analytics team
Education & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in digital analytics, reporting and database management and/or Data Science models used in commercial/digital processes. Experience within the aviation industry in the areas of Digital Analytics, Business Analytics would be preferred
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Technology or related field. Additional qualifications in analytical disciplines and techniques an advantage
- Proven track record of managing successful digital analytical models and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Good project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
