As a Draftsman, you will be instrumental in producing precise technical drawings and plans that adhere to specified guidelines. Collaborating with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders, you will ensure that all drawings are accurately rendered and comprehensive.
Responsibilities:
- Create detailed technical drawings and plans using drafting software
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to gather project requirements
- Review and interpret sketches, specifications, and documentation to produce accurate drafts
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all drawings
- Make revisions and adjustments to drawings based on feedback
- Maintain organized documentation of all drawings and their revisions
- Coordinate with team members to ensure timely project completion
- Follow best practices in drafting and develop new methodologies as needed
- Participate in team meetings and provide insights during project discussions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred
- Proven experience as a draftsman
- Proficient in drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
- Strong understanding of technical drawing principles and practices
- Ability to read and interpret complex drawings and specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Able to work independently and meet project deadlines
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations
