Eram Talent is seeking a dedicated Airport Onshore Controller - Helicopter Flight Operations to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating helicopter flight operations onshore, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and providing excellent support for all flight activities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of aviation protocols and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- To carry out helicopter control duties & log all events & timing of take
- off and landings to ensure the safe movement of passengers and helicopters in line with manifests and maintaining radio contact with the helicopter pilots from Air Control Tower to ensure the safe movement of passengers and helicopters during flights to Al·Khafji Joint Operations' offshore facilities
- Maintain effective communication with pilots and crew to ensure smooth flight operations and adapt to any changes in flight schedules
- Monitor weather conditions and assess their impact on flight safety, providing timely information to all stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and safety standards during all flight operations
- Conduct pre-flight briefings and coordinate with ground service personnel to ensure readiness for each flight
- Maintain accurate logs and records of all helicopter movements, ensuring availability for reporting and compliance purposes
- Interface with relevant authorities to obtain necessary approvals and permits for helicopter operations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in helicopter flight operations or air traffic control
- Strong knowledge of aviation safety regulations and operational procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a high-pressure environment
- Proficient in aviation operational software and tools
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays
