We are looking for a Cashier to join our Commercial team. The Cashier will be accurately handling cash, credit, and other forms of payment, ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers, and contributing to the overall operational effectiveness of the store. They will also be playing a key role in maintaining accurate records of transactions, managing cash registers, and supporting sales and inventory processes.
What will you be doing?
- Operating the cash register and processing customer transactions accurately, including cash, credit/debit card payments, and other forms of payment.
- Greeting customers as they arrive at the checkout counter and providing excellent customer service.
- Assisting customers with product information, recommendations, and answering their inquiries.
- Balancing the cash register at the beginning and end of shifts, and performing cash drops as needed.
- Restocking shelves and maintaining the sales floor's appearance to ensure it is neat and organized.
- Informing customers about current promotions, discounts, and store policies, and encouraging additional purchases.
- Monitoring for and reporting any suspicious activities or security concerns to ensure a safe shopping environment.
- Maintaining accurate records of transactions and sales data, and ensuring all transactions are documented properly.

- Ensuring that all interactions with customers contribute to a positive shopping experience and foster customer loyalty.
