About the job:

An exciting opportunity for a Front Office Team Leader role has arisen to join the Jumeirah Zabeel Saray.

Your main duties will include:

Guest Services:

  • Overseeing the check-in and check-out processes to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Handling guest complaints, resolving issues, and addressing special requests.
  • Ensuring that guests have a pleasant stay and providing personalized service where necessary.
  • Coordinating with other departments (housekeeping, concierge, etc.) to meet guest needs.
  • Supervising, training, and coaching front office Guest Service Executives.
  • Scheduling shifts and managing workloads.
  • Monitoring team performance and providing feedback to improve service quality.
  • Ensuring that the team follows hotel policies and procedures.
  • Managing daily operations of the front office to ensure smooth workflows.
  • Ensuring accurate guest billing and financial transactions.
  • Conducting daily briefings with staff and ensuring communication between shifts.
  • Collaborating with housekeeping, reservations, and security departments for seamless operation.
  • Monitoring guest satisfaction and managing guest feedback.
  • Preparing daily reports on occupancy, revenue, and guest feedback.
  • Keeping up to date with hotel policies, local regulations, and safety standards.
  • Monitoring and maintaining cleanliness and ambiance of the front office area.


About you:

  • Bachelor's degree, Diploma or certification in hotel management hotel administration, or related field
  • A minimum 2-4 years of experience in front office operations or a similar role in the hospitality industry, preferably in a 4- or 5-star hotel.
  • Having a strong background in guest service and interaction is crucial.
  • Experience with hotel management systems: Familiarity with property management systems (PMS) such as Opera Cloud etc.
  • Proficiency in using hotel Property Management Systems (e.g., Opera, Fidelio, etc.) for reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and billing.
  • Fluency in English, Russian, and German (both written and spoken) is required, as this will enable the supervisor to effectively assist international guests. Knowledge of additional languages is desired.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and email communication.
