Purpose of Job

• Provides technical guidance and support in the Maintenance engineering, troubleshooting and failure analysis of a wide range of instrumentation and associated control systems, such as PLCs, DCS, SCADA current control system of gas and steam turbine and diesel engine generator system etc.
• Reviews and participates in the design and development of related projects.
• Participates in the preparation of statement of requirements for new projects.
• Participate in technical bid evaluation.
• Assists in the assessment of the reliability of critical control packages and make recommendations for enhancement.
• Provides assistance to development engineering, operations and participate in the performance of major packages.
• Studies and recommends enhancement to their reliability.
• Assist in the preparation of SOR’s for in-house projects.

Minimum Job Requirements

• B. Sc. in Electronic Engineering.
• 5 years’ experience in the installation, maintenance and repair of a wide range of
• Power Generators, Instrumentation and Control equipment and associated control
• panels, preferably in an oil/gas or petrochemical industry.
• Good knowledge of English language both written and oral.
• Computer literacy in Ms Word, Ms Excel & Ms Project
