Responsibilities:
– Supervise and coordinate the activities of the waitstaff, ensuring efficient and high-quality service
– Train and mentor waitstaff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
– Greet and seat customers, ensuring a welcoming and pleasant dining experience
– Provide recommendations on menu items, answering any questions customers may have about Lebanese cuisine
– Take customer orders accurately and transmit them to the kitchen staff
– Monitor customer satisfaction, addressing any concerns or complaints in a professional manner
– Handle cash and card transactions, processing payments accurately
– Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service
– Maintain a clean and organized dining area, adhering to food hygiene and safety regulations
Qualifications:
– Minimum 2 years of experience working within the hospitality industry, preferably in a Lebanese or Middle Eastern restaurant
– Strong knowledge of Lebanese cuisine, ingredients, and cooking techniques
– Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English
– Ability to lead and motivate a team of waitstaff
– Good problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
