As we transform our Sales & Distribution strategy to ensure it is fit for sustainable success, we are looking for an effective leader to manage the overall strategy and development of core sales tools, systems, and B2B sales support function to ensure the Global Sales division is equipped with the right enablers (tools, systems and processes) to deliver commercial objectives.

The candidate will help build and lead a high impact, multidisciplinary team that will be responsible for Sales CRM (Salesforce) & other technology platforms, Sales Data, B2B Sales Operations and Sales Communications. The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader, preferably within the airline industry, and have demonstrable experience of:

 

Accountabilities

Sales Systems & Application Strategy: Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for sales applications, prioritizing & aligning sales technology initiatives with the organization's business objectives. Develop frameworks using latest tools and technologies.

B2B Sales Support: Develop and own the strategy for the modernizing B2B sales support team and building an inside sales unit.

Process Management: Collaborate with multiple sales leaders and support in designing/ refining and building sales processes.

Change management: Understand, evaluate, and develop change management plans for projects and/or change initiatives. Identify risks and planning mitigation plans. Supporting development of communications relevant to change initiatives.

B2B Communications SPOC: Be a point of contact for entire sales organisation for any matters related with sales processes, B2B policies or communications.

 Deliver insightful reporting and analysis to, and on behalf of Global Sales in the form of a “single source of truth” playbook that drives sales action

Drive innovation by supporting systems/tools/data teams with input on reporting requirements, reference data, and the development of sales tools & technologies

Coach, mentor, and develop team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree (Advanced degree preferred) in a related discipline with 10-12 years work experience in a related field

Strong technical skills in CRM Management, SQL and any scripting language

Strong analytical background; ability to synthesize performance data in a meaningful way - both verbally and in writing

Proven track record of wide and deep Sales experience on a global scale, with an excellent grasp of sales technology, sales support, and broader commercial and revenue knowledge

Strong understanding of airline market dynamics, industry trends and competitive landscape

Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, inspire and guide a multidisciplinary team; Strong team player and team leader, with cultural awareness & understanding

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships
