Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain 3D models for MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and ELV) using software like Revit or AutoCAD MEP.
• Perform clash detection using tools like Navisworks to identify and resolve conflicts between systems.
• Coordinate with structural and architectural teams to ensure all systems fit seamlessly into the building design.
• Prepare detailed shop drawings, installation plans, and fabrication documents from BIM models.
• Ensure models comply with local regulations, project standards, and client requirements.
• Update BIM models during design and construction, including changes and as-built data.
• Extract material quantities and data from BIM models for procurement and scheduling.
• Attend coordination meetings to review progress and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate and accessible BIM data for all project stakeholders.
• Create and manage BIM family libraries, templates, and workflows.
• Generate reports on model updates, clash detection, and project status.

Skills

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP and AutoCAD MEP for modeling and coordination.
• Experience with Navisworks for clash detection and BIM model integration.
• 5+ years of experience in MEP design and modeling, with a strong understanding of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, fire protection, and ELV systems.
• Familiarity with Dynamo, BIM 360, or Tekla is a plus.
• Ability to resolve conflicts and ensure coordination across disciplines.
• Strong attention to detail and understanding of building codes and industry standards.
